The Montenegro Citizenship by Investment Program was introduced by the Government on January 1, 2019 to attract foreign investment.

Benefits

Nationality for 2 generations:

• Citizenship is granted permanently to both generations of the family, the investor, the spouse and dependent children.

Enjoy EU citizenship:

• Become a citizen of Montenegro, a country about to join the EU

Preferential tax policy:

• Preferential tax policy, 9% corporate income tax and personal income tax

Base for applying for E-2 visa to the US:

• Montenegro has signed a trade agreement with the US (able to apply for an E-2 visa)

Requirements

Option 1:

• Donate 100,000 EUR to the Government
• Invest a minimum of EUR 450,000 in an approved real estate project in Podgorica or in the waters of Montenegro, within 5 years

• Invest a minimum of EUR 250,000 in a real estate development project in the North or Central region of Montenegro, excluding Podgorica, for 5 years
