Settlement by Investment PNP

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP for short) is one of the options to help candidates quickly obtain permanent residency in Canada. Depending on the provincial requirements, the investor will need to meet the conditions to meet the investment to settle in that province.

Designations allow other Canadian provinces and territories to set their own criteria for selection and to designate individuals who intend to live and move to Canada to settle in a certain province.

This program requires applicants, after successfully becoming a permanent resident, to commit to living and working in their nominated province.

Currently, popular provincial immigration programs include:

  • Ontario, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, PEI, Atlantic Regional Pilot Program, Manitoba.
  • Quebec has its own system and successful applicants will receive a CSQ (Certificate du Selection du Quebec). Letter confirming that the candidate has been selected by the province of Quebec.

Each of these provinces (except Quebec, which has a separate selection system from other provinces), has its own nomination program for both the skilled worker stream and the investor or business owner stream. These provinces enter into agreements with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), allowing them to select immigrants with high labor skills or financial factors under the criteria that the province prioritizes and recommends.

The provincial immigration program has proven very effective because it is tied to the human and economic requirements of each region, helping the province to select candidates that it believes will make an effective contribution to the community as well. like the Canadian economy.

Thanks to the rich program system, the provinces also make it easier for candidates to find the program that is best for them, and especially Express Entry candidates, a confirmation letter from the province will help them get very close to receive an invitation (ITA for short) and then receive permanent resident status (Permanent Resident).
